10岁的小学生在翻看字典时发现，字典中对“鸡”的其中一种解释是“妓女的贬称”，而且有详细的表述。家长认为这样很不妥当。 <br />让大人不安的地方还不只这个。任小姐翻开该字典第233页对记者说：“字典中对‘妓’字的解释，也是不太好的。”该页对“妓”字的解释是这样的：1.古代称以歌舞为业的女子。2.以卖淫为生的人，女的叫“妓女”，也称“鸡”；男的叫男妓，也称“鸭”。人妖也是妓的一种。 <br /><br />　　记者在深圳书城（罗湖）工具书书架找了几本同类型的字典进行了比较。商务印书馆2005年出版的《新华字典》第10版、延边大学出版社出版的《学生应用工具书最新版新编字典》以及崇文书局出版的《新编学生多功能字典》中对“鸡”的解释都只有一个，即一种家禽。（深圳晚报）
